I originally began teaching group fitness classes in 1991 as an instructor for Shapenastics, Inc. and in January 1997 I purchased the business and became the owner of Shapenastics Aerobic Center. I choreographed, video taped and designed the music arrangements for all programs taught by instructors except for the Bodypump program. I have worked with several corporations such as GE, Papa John’s, Caritas and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to provide on-site fitness programs. In 2004 I was the contest winner featured in a step video choreography contest sponsored by Gin Miller Fitness and Muscle Mixes Music to benefit breast cancer research. In 2005 I was a semi-finalist for the ACE Achievement Award. Since I closed my business in 2004, I have been teaching group fitness classes at various clubs in the Louisville area.
